Cumulative Total Trade, January 2025
Total trade for the year 2026 was K50.5 billion while that of 2025 for the same period was K53.9 billion, representing 6.4 percent decrease.

Total Exports and Imports by Mode of Transport, December 2025
The total value of Imports via all modes of transport for the period January 2026 was K22.9 billion. Road transport accounted for the highest value with K11.9 billion representing 51.9 percent share, followed by Air transport with K1.3 billion (5.5 percent). Rail transport was third with K0.3 billion accounting for 1.2 percent of the total import bill. Other modes of transport accounted for K9.5 billion (41.3 percent).
In terms of volumes, a total of 932.1 thousand Mt of imports was recorded for the period January 2026, of which Road transport accounted for 443.3 thousand Mt, representing the highest share at 47.6 percent, followed by Rail transport which accounted for 18.0 thousand Mt, representing a share of 1.9 percent. Air Transport was third accounting for 0.9 thousand Mt (0.1 percent), while other modes accounted for 469.8 thousand Mt (50.4 percent
