Provincial Annual Inflation Rates
Disaggregation of annual inflation by province indicates that, during the month under review, annual inflation declined; Central (6.1% from 6.3%); Eastern(5.3% from 6.0%); Lusaka (8.5% from 8.6%); Northern (5.9% from 6.4%); North-Western (5.7% from 5.8%); and Western (5.3 % from 5.5%) provinces. Annual inflation increased for Copperbelt (6.0% from 5.9%), Luapula (4.2% from 4.0%) and Southern (6.7% from 6.6%) provinces (see Table 3).
