TRADE BALANCE, JUL. 2026 (K’ Billion)

 

The country recorded a trade surplus of  K4.1 billion in July 2026  compared to the surplus of K4.2 billion recorded in  June 2026. 

Exports mainly comprising domestically produced goods, increased by 0.1 percent from K29.6 billion in June 2026 to K29.7 billion in July 2026. This was mainly on account of increases in export earnings from Raw materials by 18.2 percent Capital goods by 56.2 percent, and Consumer goods by 7.2 percent.

Imports increased by 0.4 percent from K25.5 billion in June 2026 to K25.6 billion in July 2026. This was mainly as a result of increases in import bills of Intermediate goods by 9.5 percent Raw materials by 12.0 percent and  Capital goods by 3.6 percent.
